Lord, thank you for being a loving Father and for having my good in mind before the world began. As I come to know, love, and serve You I trust that You will fulfill the deepest longings of my heart.

Lord, teach me to hear Your voice. Create in me an attentive soul and a spirit willing to respond.

In times of confusion and doubt grant me peace and understanding.

In moments of temptation and struggle grant me the courage and fortitude to continue to follow after You.

Please place in my life men and women who will offer support and wise counsel on my journey to You.

Let my heart remain ever faithful so that, no matter where You may call me to serve You, I will always know the peace and joy that comes from loving You alone.

I ask this through the intercession of Jesus, Mother Mary, my patron saints, and guardian angel. Amen.
