The Bishop’s Seminary Brunch, celebrating its 37th consecutive year in 2021, is an annual event that gathers more than one thousand faithful from around the entire Diocese. It is a gathering hosted by the Bishop of Cleveland that offers a personal expression of appreciation and support to the men in priestly formation at Borromeo and St. Mary Seminaries for the Diocese of Cleveland. The Brunch also provides financial support to the Rector’s Fund, which has the sole purpose of providing for seminarians’ personal and emergency needs during the course of the academic year.

We are happy to announce that, while we can’t have our usual in-person gathering in March, we will be presenting a virtual event this year. And for those of you who have never attended before, we enthusiastically invite you to join us. This event will be presented on Sunday, March 21st at 12 noon. Featured will be Bishop Emeritus Anthony M. Pilla and our current bishop of the Diocese of Cleveland, Edward Malesic. Of special importance will be testimonials by several of our current seminarians at Borromeo and St. Mary. Their stories of how this event has enabled them to continue in their journey to priesthood will thrill and inspire you.
